Micky Miller is Chairman Emeritus of Miller Global and has been in real estate investment since 1962.

His experience has included involvement in the development, acquisition, and management of over 75 million square feet of buildings, including high-rise offices, suburban offices, hotels, golf and ski resorts, mixed-use projects, condominiums, office and industrial parks, retail complexes, apartments, condominiums, real estate subdivisions and various land ventures.

From 1955 through 1968, Mr. Miller was in the private practice of law specializing in real estate, corporate and general business law. During that time, he conceptualized, created and then coordinated a joint venture to annex, zone, subdivide and develop a 2,900-acre tract of land adjacent to the City of Denver owned by his extended family.

In 1969, Mr. Miller joined Urban Investment and Development Co. (Urban), a subsidiary of Aetna Life & Casualty, then one of the nation's largest real estate development companies in the country, where he served as Executive Vice President in charge of the western half of the U.S. In January 1978, Mr. Miller formed Miller-Davis Co., a partnership with Marvin Davis, for the purpose of finding a niche in the U.S. real estate market. Later, Miller-Davis Co. took in additional partners and became Miller-Klutznick-Davis-Gray Co. (MKDG).

After selling all of the assets of MKDG in 1993, Micky and his son Jimmy formed a partnership with Philip Anschutz for the primary purpose of acquiring distressed properties. In 1996, that partnership morphed into Miller Global Properties, which became the sponsor of nine real estate funds which successfully invested billions of dollars in the acquisition and development of high-quality properties throughout the U.S.

On January 27, 2011, Mr. Miller was inducted into the Colorado Business Hall of Fame.
